We stayed in room 410 I do believe and it was a nice room for the most part. There was no turn table plate in the microwave so when we tried to make popcorn it caught the bag on fire some how, and also it was really cold outside and we could not get the heater in the room to work for the life of us. It was a cute room though!
Staff was responsive and courteous. The room was large for the price, and clean. My only complaint was that the walls seemed rather thin. I could hear the guests next door easily. This location, at the time, did not have a breakfast available, but they did have coffee and other beverages.
One of the ladies, the one who checked us out was excellent, but when we arrived we were not given the bottom level room we requested. Also the air conditioner went out and we had to move, which worked out because we were put on the first floor(we had requested) from the fourth floor. Hope our stay for Oct 29 is better and on the ground floor _118- at the discounted 44.89 price for AARP. I am again having eye surgery and this quieter end of the building on the first floor would be helpful.
The rooms where not as clean and well-kept as I expected. The hotel is definitely in need of some cosmetics and maintenance. However they try with the very comfortable bedding and atmosphere in the lobby. Comparable in price to the other hotels off of the exit rating on the less expensive side. You get what you pay for in that area. The staff is hit or miss, you can get along and be treated friendly or you can tell that the patience of the employees runs thin. I would recommend so tell if you need somewhere safe to sleep with inside corridors and you don't have more than $60 to spend on a night however I do feel that the Econo Lodge and Days Inn are the next most affordable hotels. I do not feel that it was dirty. The beds were comfortable nice large bathrooms with modern utilities. They have a great breakfast Eatery along with all night coffee down in the lobby vending machines are on the first floor. The hotel is four stories high all inside corridors guest access through side doors main lobby main entrance. There is laundry facilities. They do have a few suites available and double bed occupancy.
Went to Georgia on a speedy trip to visit my Mom who had just been in the hospital in Woodstock. Stayed at the Motel 6 in Canton, Ga. Called to reserve the room ahead of time. Very polite customer service people. Made everything a breeze and stress free. I had my 3 Chihuahua's with me and had a designated doggy yard for them. Helped so much with our travels. Pleasant rooms. They aren't the new refurbished ones yet but clean and nice just the same. Canton Motel 6 made my unexpected trip a happy one. Thank You all so much. Really enjoyed you all.
