Prices are a tad high, but the quality of the food is great. The portions are large and there are plenty of "southern" sides to choose from. I've eaten here several times and have not been dissapointed by the meal or the service. The staff here is friendly and accommodating (even when we brought our 2 small children). I would definitely recommend this place if you like southern style BBQ with a friendly atmosphere. Plus, they have a wood burning stove that makes the place smell amazing!
Got seated right away, which is unusual; normally it's a 10-15 minute wait. Food was ordered and delivered in a timely fashion. Food was hot and, as always, extremely tasty. Probably the best barbecue place I go to; though to be fair I've only ever been to Sonny's otherwise, so YMMV. Prices are fair and service was adequate.
I ordered a beef brisket sandwich and should have left when they asked if I wanted lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. I said no.. When the sandwich arrived, I thought it was pork. Never seen beef brisket look like that. There was a tremendous amount of fat that was soft and disgusting. It looked like lard. When the waitress asked if there was a problem, I said ""yes". She kindly took 50% of the cost of the brisket off my bill. The worst barbecue experience of my life. DO Not Recommend
This is by far the best BBQ in Atlanta that I have had...both the spare ribs and baby back are incredible and tender...the smoked chicken is so full of flavor and the various BBQ sauses well worth trying.... The staff are friendly and knowledgeable... I highly recommend this place for your family and friends... Come with a appetite though ...enjoy
Went for my birthday, it was amazing. This was only my 2nd visit and it was much improved over my first. I had the BBQ Combo which gave me 4 meats, chicken, pork, ribs & shredded beef. The sweet and spicy sauce was delicious. I tried the Brunswick Stew, excellent and had multiple flavors. The mac & cheese is heaven and the mashed potatoes were good the brown gravy was just ok.
