The first visit was good, I did a test drive on a loaded Camry. I loved the car and wanted to finance, so I was told I'd hear back in a couple of days. Finally heard back, I went in on an appointment scheduled a few days in advance, and as I get there, they say the car was sold the day before, and that the salesman I worked with was out of town. I told them that I specially made the appointment for this car, so I got up to leave, and they said they'll "get me a good deal on another one to make up for it". So I agreed and took another test drive. We then went through 3 hours of a process only to find out I couldn't finance on my own. I was told my consigner would have to trade in a car she was still paying for to get another one, which would in turn "trick the bank", and let me get the one I want. That was completely bogus, so I got up, asked for my old keys, and left. I ended up getting a used car at Day's Chevrolet a week after, no problems. I still have it and I'm very happy with it. Of course, about a month after I left Bill Holt, they called and asked me if I was still interested in the loaded Camry that they had already said they SOLD a MONTH BEFORE. Either one of three things goes on at Bill Holt, they're greedy, they don't communicate at all, or both. This was my first time going to a dealership for myself and for a lack of better words, I wasn't exactly thrilled with any of the ordeal I went through.
My experience at Bill Holt Chevrolet of canton was the best I have ever had purchasing a car. All the staff was absolutely the best. Not because they are trying to sell you a car but because all the help we got from them. They help us out above and beyond and from now on this is where I'm going to buy all my future cars. I stopped in to have my wife's 2016 Equinox and while the service was being done, I stopped in to visit with MattLanne. He explained that they had just received 3 2018 models and suggested that I shave a look and he would give me an excellent trade-in. I looked, I liked and Matt went to work and made me a great offer. Bill Holt Chevrolet is the only place in the North Atlanta area to buy a car or truck. The service department is excellent and always gives service within an hour. Impressive!! .
Service department does great work,but the parts counter personnel are lacking.I rang the counter bell 3 different times.No parts personnel arrived to assist my vehicle need....I politely left the parts department,ordered my own ACDELCO touch up paint from a popular 2 day shipping company,for almost $10 less than dealer price.
This is by far the BEST Chevrolet dealership I have ever dealt with when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle! I can't say enough about the EXCELLENT service I had from our salesman, Will Rawlins. Will went above and beyond to work with us to get the vehicle we wanted, at an affordable price & to coordinate delivery of the vehicle (in another state) that worked with our schedule. I will make the 3 hour 1 way drive anytime in the future to purchase a vehicle from this Chevrolet dealership! I shopped our local Chevrolet dealership and was not pleased-- So THANKFUL for Bill Holt Chevrolet of Canton, GA!
